Fun with DNS

Today, I did a very, very bad thing. I switched DNS over to a new server and the new server didn’t have all the correct information in it. This caused massive amounts of confusion and issues within Voxilla today.

Basically, the Internet caches information a lot longer than you want it to. In the case of the bad information, or missing information in DNS records, it can take a while to clear.

I believe it’s all sorted now, but it was definitely not one of my finer days. Feel like such a n00b.
