A Day of Sitting on the Tarmac

It seems both my flights today have involved sitting in an airplane on the ground for no good reason. The first flight, I have no idea. The flight from Chicago to Ottawa at least had good reasons–waiting for passengers, waiting for fuel, and waiting to get routed around some nasty weather over Lake Michigan.

At least on the flight from Chicago, I met up with a co-worker who is going to Ottawa with me so I’ve had someone to hang with during the waiting. Good thing because I’ve done a good job of running the battery down in my Nokia Communicator.

Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to actually getting on the ground and not being stuck in an airplane for hours on end.
