FX-300 GSM

This posting on DSL Reports mentions the upcoming FX-300 GSM which includes the functionality of the SIP CPE FX-200 with a built-in GSM “phone” for making/receiving calls via the FXO/FXS port converer. As to why they didn’t post on their FX-200 Forum on Voxilla, I’m not sure.

Previously, I had discussed using a Dock n Talk, a compatible GSM phone, and a SPA-3000 to go back and forth between the mobile network and VoIP. This device makes the proposition a little easier (except for those who do not have GSM service where they live), though it will be interesting to see what the price point is.
