I don't know what your particular issue is with why you stay with Nokia, only you can answer that. For me, I've gotten to the point where I only load a handful of apps on a fresh install of a Nokia phone. Gravity is, of course, one of those apps, the others being Google Maps, Screenshot, and X-Plore. If I want Exchange connectivity, I load RoadSync and Pointsec Mobile (the latter made by my employer, Check Point Software). I can pretty much live without all the others.

Are the applications available the reason I like Nokia phones? And is this the reason I can't move away from Nokia?

When I had the 1st iPhone for 2 weeks, I hated it as I was restricted to what I could do on it, really p!ssed me off and a sold it quickly.

Gravity is becoming the BEST application on Nokia phone at the moment and could I live without it, probably not :)
