Since I can potentially blog from multiple computers in my house (or even while traveling), Google Docs ends up being a good thing. I only have to worry about one copy of this spreadsheet floating around--the one in the cloud.

i use google docs a little. but really only as an alternate access method for spreadsheets or docs created on local software(mostly openoffice or other open source alternatives to MS office wares.) i can save copies of docs in google and access from any web connected computer without having to carry a flash drive or save anything locally. great for use in libraries or internet cafe or just visiting a friend and want to show them something without have to download anything locally. i have never actually created anything from scratch in google docs though; but if i was say at a public library and needed to use a web connected computer to write a document really quick that i would later have access to i guess google would be a very likely option.
