Starbucks WiFi To Become AT&T WiFi Locations

I can’t say I saw this coming, but the word is out that Starbucks shreds their hotspot deal with T-Mobile and goes with AT&T. The good news is that T-Mobile customers will still be able to use the Starbucks locations for free through a roaming deal with AT&T. T-Mobile has several other WiFi roaming locations that are desirable to AT&T, so a roaming deal like this makes a lot of sense.

Makes me wonder, though, when can I add unlimited WiFi through AT&T Wireless for the cost of an unlimited data plan like T-Mobile does. $20 a month for unlimited WiFi access seems reasonable, but it is pricier than T-Mobile’s deal, where the $20/month includes data on your mobile phone as well.
