eComm2008: Where Communications Thought Leaders Will Be

eComm 2008One thing I don’t do for a variety of reasons is attend any conferences and trade shows. Not a comment on the quality of the trade shows, but it’s generally not compatible with my current situation.

However, if I had to choose one to go to this year, it’d be eComm2008, which Lee Dryburgh created in response to the highly successful, but shelved eTel conference by O’Reilly. It’s being held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View on March 12-14, which means I might be able to make it part of a work trip.

The thing I liked about eTel was that it wasn’t marketing, it was the cream-of-the-crop, thought leaders in the VoIP/telecom space, getting together and sharing the future. The caliber of people that attended eTel last year was just amazing!

If you’re at all thinking about going, however, now’s the time to sign up. Space is limited and the early bird discount of $300 applies until the end of 2007.
