Dell Axim X30

One of the things I like about my “new” job is that I have an excuse to actually obtain and play with new stuff. My latest acquisition is the Dell Axim X30. I got the 624Mhz model with built-in Bluetooth and WiFi.

It seems to scan for and latch onto public WiFi networks, which is handy when travelling. If that’s not an option, I can always bluetooth into my cell phone and use GPRS/EDGE to reach the Internet. It’s also handy for reading email and looking at certain online content. Now if I could just get WiFi working down in my living room well…
