Ovation U727: Wish The Sprint Store Had This When I Was Buying

Filed under: gadgets, mobile network operators - 07 Nov 2007 0:01

U727When I was looking to get a EVDO card last month, the Sprint store I went to on Van Ness in San Francisco did not have this guy on display. If they did, I would have bought this guy.

Oh sure, I like my AirCard 595U, but like the folks at CrunchGear say, it’s a fattie. The U727 looks a bit more like a typical thumb drive and also includes a MicroSD slot. Guess that does make it a thumb drive.

At least for where I live, Sprint is showing this badboy at $79.99 after rebates and a two-year ball-and-chain (contract).
