Even The Executives Get It Wrong

When I posted on my S60 blog, I have on occasion made the mistake of calling S60 “Series 60.” I think, technically, that’s what S60 means. However, I know from getting nastygrams from the S60 marketing folks that I should not say Series 60. ;)

So I wonder what happens when a senior executive such as Mary McDowell makes the mistake, such as in this interview with PC World? I also heard it happen during the recent GoPlay presentations as well, so this is not an isolated incident.

This is the kind of thing that I hate. Those are “fake” problems in a company. If someone gets upset if you write Series 60 instead of S60, it means they don’t have more serious problems to take care of. Lucky them.
