Back Online

ModemYou may not have noticed since I had a number of blog posts pre-written for your reading pleasure, but I’ve been only loosely connected to the Internet since about Friday. We took possession on, and have moved into a new place in Gig Harbor, WA. This has been disruptive in more ways than one.

What little Internet I’ve had over the past few days have been provided by a combination of T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. None of them were giving me stellar speeds–about dialup speeds.

While we’re still in boxes and suitcases, I’m finally back online with Cable Internet. DSL comes on Wednesday. I will write up my experiences with them over the next couple of days as the experiences have been a little different than I’m accustomed to. And it’s certainly not a Covad T1, either.

Well, at least you got decent connectivity just in time for today’s Facebook outage.

Gig Harbor is quite nice. Thanks for the well wishes. A lot of work to be done yet… ;)

    And Facebook, what’s that? ;)
