New and improved Blog

Since I finally broke down and installed MySQL on my server to host the new forums on my site, I figured I’d also take the opportunity to use it for blogging as well.

Movable Type is one of the more popular pieces of blogging software I’ve seen. I know that Jeff Pulver uses it. It’s got a nice, clean interface. I like nice and clean interfaces. TWiki just doesn’t work for blogging. Nor does it seem to work for FireWall-1 FAQs, at least according to my users, but that’s a different topic.

Over the next several days, I’m going to have to convert my blog entries into this new format. The nice thing is that I can backdate all the entries. Meanwhile, you can see my old entries at PhoneBoy Blog.
