Nothing could beat Nokia's S60 platform, coz of the availbility of wide variety of 3rd party software, i guess...

But for looks, style, fashion iPhone is awesome!

The more and more that I think about it, the better the iPhone is for Nokia. Why? Customer Education. Look at how much Apple did for Nokia. They've educated consumers that it's ok to spend a chunk of change on a device. They've educated the Carriers that it's ok to have unbranded devices. They've educated other manufacturers that it's ok (and possible) to stand up and tell the carrier "take it or leave it." They've educated consumers on the mobile internet. They've educated consumers about how to use your PC to setup and manage your mobile device.

It's all good stuff, and now the ball is in Nokia's court to use this free consumer education and show consumers the selection they actually do have.

I totally agree. Nokia can do much more in the US. In Europe they are leader, but in the US they need to do much more. Now they need something like iPhone or LG Prada, a new cool form factor and look&feel that can bring together the high end features of Nokia phones with a cool look&feel like the iPhone.
