Something that would help Gizmo a lot in its popularity would be a more consistent SIP mapping name. Instead of sip:1747xxxxx@proxy01.sipphone.com (whoever came up with this idea????), it should be something like sip:gizmoname@gizmoproject.com. Much easier to call you then from outside Gizmo (That's the reason they chose SIP, isn't it??)

It's true SIP has trouble working behind corporate firewalls. However, E series has a built in VPN client (N-series client is downloadable). Once you make it work (you have to write your own policy and self-sign it) it works fine with voip (I log in into Cisco concentrator at my work). Most companies don't block VPN traffic, so this is a good option if you find yourself unable to use voip through normal ports. N95 doesn't have a client released yet, but I took a gamble and installed client for N80 which seems to work fine even on N95.
