it only looks like it’s “charging” when your battery is not yet totally empty. but during that process, your battery will eventually drain out…and…when you try to re-charge it…it never does..and you dont hear the usual “beep” that you hear on a “working” n80i. Luckily, my cousin has the n80 silver edition and i tried charging “my” batteries thru his phone and the battery would work fine once i put it in my n80i phone. i also waited till my cousin’s n80 battery drained off to test on my n80i…and…the same problem happened…it just does “not” charge. tried different chargers…including an “authenic” NOKIA N80/N80i chargers…still no luck…the Nokia Care stores in Manila, Philippines seemed to have lost their way about this issue…and when i ask them what’s wrong, they kept on saying “it’s the battery!” or “it’s the charger!” …well, i think it’s the “phone” itself… i troubleshot so i must be right.
