There is a hardware difference, here goes. The e61(also e60 and e 70) are 3g w/ duel chip processer. One for apps and one for calling. App chip is ARM9 220 Mhz/64 MB SDRAM/128 NAND flash w@o XIP; uses ram to open apps. The e62(also e50) are 2g single cjip processer ARM9 235 Mhz/32 MB SDRAM/32 NOR+128 NAND flash w/ XIP: loads app with flash from origional position. The 08 difference seems nice but after loading the 61 get 23MB free for apps and the 62 gets about 16 MB wich is ate ute up very qiuckly. Just to launch the internet browser alone is 2 MB.

I didn’t realize that the E61 might have extra processing. It feels zippier than the E70, though. Switching orientations on the E70 is painfully slow.
